Pharmacy First is a new NHS service that allows community pharmacies to assess and treat certain minor health conditions — without needing a GP appointment or prescription.

This means faster, more convenient care for you — and less strain on your local surgery.

💡 Conditions We Can Treat

We can offer clinical assessment and NHS-funded treatment for the following:

Earache (Acute Otitis Media): Ages 1–17
Impetigo: Ages 1+
Infected insect bites & stings: Ages 1+
Shingles (Herpes Zoster): Ages 18+
Sinusitis (Acute Rhinosinusitis): Ages 12+
Sore throat (Acute Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis): Ages 5+
Uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Women aged 16–64

Our pharmacists are trained to assess symptoms, offer expert advice, and provide NHS-approved medications where appropriate.

Please note: Age and eligibility criteria apply. If you’re outside these criteria, our pharmacists can still offer advice and recommend appropriate care or refer you to another healthcare provider if necessary.
